Here’s the stunning debut of a new and vibrant, ongoing tnocs.com featurette. It will be a short recap of the week’s activity around here. I’ll also invite you to use this space for conversation about anything that’s on your mind. I will post this column religiously each Friday, without fail, in perpetuity.

I was humbled by the response to our debut on Thursday. So many of our good friends came by to visit and drop a comment or two. It was really gratifying, considering that outside of our usual cast of characters over at SG, we’re sort of digitally anonymous.

But with the babiest of steps, that’s going to change. I’ll trumpet your awesomeness from virtual sea to virtual shining sea. And you can help – any shout outs on digital social media (to include shoehorning an occasional mention over at SG) would be super-appreciated. I’ll do my part with SEO and promotion as well.

So, gang, how about those featured articles! Bam! Sending big tnocs.com love to friends Virgindog, lovethisconcept, Pauly Steyreen, and cstolliver for writing up some fun, interesting and inspiring content for the site. Opening day would have been a vast wasteland of blank pixels without good folks like y’all. Thank you.

If you read their awesome articles, you’ll likely discern what we’re looking for. For about 4 years, we’ve been treated to great writing from so many commenters. Now is your moment, to see your stuff as a prominently placed, featured article. I know, such bragging rights can seem to be a lofty goal. But, it’s within your grasp. And for the career minded among you, remember that such landmark achievements are the lifeblood of a great LinkedIn profile.

And, a teaser: coming next week, we have some other budding contributing authors on deck, working on some great pieces as well. Familiar names that will make you say, “Aww! Look! It’s good ol’ {insert_your _fave_commenter_crush_name here.}”

Random notes:

• I’m working on spiffing up the code this weekend. Please feel free to suggest any enhancement or fixes that would make your experience better.

• Any interest in a feature that would email you when new content is posted? Fully opt-in and opt-out, of course.
